Katie & Kyle:: Captain Linnell House – Cape Cod Wedding Photographers

We had been anticipating Katie & Kyle’s wedding for a long time….  We photographed their engagement sessions in the Fall amongst pumpkins and yellow leaves in Chatham a year before and we just knew this wedding was going to be amazing – mostly because we just like Katie & Kyle SO very much!  Joe & I started the day at the East Coast Salon on 6A ( Perfect hair & makeup… truly – check them out!)  and from there, Joe went off to meet Kyle & his best guys, Ryan, Chad & John …  and I went with Katie where she got ready at her parents beautiful property in Orleans… Bridget, Becky, Liz and Katie’s parents were SO helpful with the dress, flowers and making sure everyone ate something before Leonard from Cape Destination Limousine arrived… and when it did – we went straight to the absolutely beautiful Little Inn on Pleasant Bay where Katie & Kyle would have their first look – sigh…  I can’t even adequately describe this property, except for you to look at the images… for real – it’s just memorizing… oh, and  I have to say that I was CRAZY about Katie’s dress… The cut, the broach, the ribbon… her amazing body… well – yeah – it was ridiculous… and Kyle was almost speechless at the first look – he looking amazing in his grey suit, pale pink tie and converse sneakers… The succulent boutonnières were my absolute favorite!!! … and the bouquets of soft white and pink peonies with lambs ears by Meredith at Fancy Flowers were too-die-for!

We too most of the family portraits, and all of the wedding party photos at the Little Inn and I could’ve stayed their all day with these gorgeous girls as my models.  But, alas – it was a wedding SO off to Skaket Beach for a touching, lovely, light & beautiful ceremony performed by Reverend Faith Lavender… I always adore beach ceremonies on a crowded beach in the summer… Everyone stops to watch, even the kids are curious and come over… people do truly drop everything to take in all the love at this wedding on the water with a view of paradise…. ahhhh!

The reception was run by the absolutely perfect team of Shelley & Bill Conway at The Captain Linnell House. He is an amazingly talented chef, and she is a wedding planning guru who saw the white and soft pink lanterns hanging from the wood beams, and The Perfect table  setting up amazing cannoli, desserts, and a candy table… oversaw the Cape Tunes DJ working the dance floor, and everything was just as fabulous as we envisioned!! Everyone headed in the Bus to the Land Ho! and the fun continued on into the wee hours…..
